A Daguerreotype Of A Gentleman In A Gutta Percha Case. a daguerreotype of a gentleman sixth plate 2.75 x 3.25 inches (7 x 8 cm) in a gutta percha case. The daguerreotype plate has crazing to the surface and there is a flat spot on the gold mount the case is nibbled but nothing serious. The hinges are intact but the catch does not hold shut, poro to fair uncleaned original condition please see my listing for more cased images.
